Ltd, X ianyang, Shanxi 712000, Ch ina) Abstract: Research purposes: Laying turnout is the key point and one of the most difficult w orks in construction of high- speed raiwl ay. The traditional construction m ethods can not meet the standards and requ irements of laying the turnout of h igh- speed raiwl ay. So the study has to be done on the new technology of laying ballast turnout of high- speed raiwl ay to mi prove the quality and efficiency of laying turnout. Research conclusions: For laying the turnouts of N ingbo- Taizhou - W enzhou Passenger Ded icated L ine, the base platform for assembling the turnout of high - speed raiwl ay has been developed in China for the first tmi e, and the comp lete technologies of pre- assembling the turnout of high- speed raiwl ay on the base, transporting the entire turnout unit and turnout laying have been developed to realize the factory, mechan ization and specialization constructions of the turnout laying base for high - speed raiwl ay.
