BOOK6 ?Unit 3 ??A healthy Life教学设计 ? 华清中学 ?雷静 ? 课型:Listening & Speaking 课标要求:Students will know the functions of advising, warning and giving permission and prohibitions by listening to the text. 教学目标 ????????? 知识与技能:Students will practice their listening comprehension, and offer advice on how to remain safe at a social gathering where alcohol and drugs may be present. 过程与方法:Students will know how to give suggestions. 情感态度价值观:Students will develop their ability to help others solve ?problems on how they should behave to keep themselves safe. 教学重点:Students practice their listening ability especially understanding the speaker’s intention and attitude. 教学难点:Students develop their speaking ability by giving advice and expressing warnings. 教学方法:Task-based teaching. Grouping Work. Listening. Speaking. Cooperative Learning. ? Step 1: Leading in? Ask students some questions about their experiences of social gatherings: 1.??Are there any discos, karaoke bars or night clubs in your district for young people to go to ? 2.??Have you ever been to places like these? 3.??Do you ever go to parties with your friends? 4.??Do you think it is okay for young people to drink alcohol or smoke? Step 2: Pre-listening for prediction (Tell the students: Two college students are chatting, Tina wants Sara to go to a disco with her, but Sara is nervous about going.) Students will read the list in Exercise 1 and guess which things Sara is nervous about. Students will listen again and stop when one of the topic words is mentioned. Listening text part1 & part 2 The words mentioned: drugs, smoking, alcohol, dancing. (Tell the students to read Exercise 2 and explain that they are going to listen to how Tina give advice.) Students will listen
