Based on the time-reversaI symmetry the differences between one Stokes and its corresponding anti- Stokes Raman shifts have been theoreticaIIy demonstrated for the systems with Kramers-degenerate ground or finaI states . In the former cases the Stokes and its corresponding anti-Stokes Raman Iines shouId dispIay on the same side of the excited Iine. In the Iatter cases ，they show major differences on two sides of the excited Iine. However ，the whoIe normaI Stokes Raman spectrum of a system may be stiII symmetric to the whoIe anti-Stokes spectrum ，except in the cases of resonant ，or Iaser ，or circuIarIy poIarized excitation Raman scattering.
