However, with the continuous construction of asphalt pavement, the maintenance of asphalt pavement has become the focus and difficult problem of highway maintenance. Asphalt pavement will cause serious damage at the early stage of operation, which makes the early diseases of asphalt pavement more and more attracting people's attention. At present, the most common early diseases of asphalt concrete pavement include cracks, rutting and oil spreading. These diseases are basically common diseases of highway engineering quality, which seriously threaten the normal use of new highways and pose more severe challenges to highway maintenance. This paper analyzes the causes of the above common diseases, and puts forward the corresponding prevention measures and treatment methods according to the actual situation, and analyzes the testing situation of the asphalt pavement in the East Ring Road of Xichuan County as an example.
