To activate students knowledge about Canada and arouse their interest. Ask students to finish Activity 1 and check their knowledge about Canada. Step 2 Reading for main idea 1.Ask students to listen to the email and find out what it is mainly about. To guide students to have an overview of the text and help students learn how to scan a text. 2. Ask students to scan the text and write the places on the map. Step 3 Reading for information Teacher asks students to find out things Eva’s family enjoyed and problems they faced during their trip and complete the table.
