Who are they? to elicit: e.g., My mother, my father, my siste , my brother and me. Write the family members on the board to create a typical family tree. While-task procedure 1 Give the students time to look at the family tree in Look and learn. Play the cassette. The students listen. 2 In pairs, students take turns pointing to the family tree and asking: Who’s that? to elicit: e.g., That’s Alice’s grandmother. 3 Give the students time to look at the pictures in Look and read. Play the cassette. The students repeat. 4 Select two students to read the first dialogue.
