T echno og ies fo r the detectio n o f HCV/HIV based on chemi uminescence have many advantag es in compariso n w ith other cur rent techno o gies.De tection o f H CV cor e antig en by chemi umine scence cou d resu t in not on y a hig h sen- sitivity and specif icity but a so in a sho rt w indow period;besides, by app ying the inea r re a tionship betw een the HCV RN A titer s and the co ntent of HCV co re antigen in the samp es, the H CV RN A titer s are avai ab e.T he sen- sitivity and specif icity are bo th hig h and f a se positive ra te is o w w hen the chemi umine scence is u sed fo r detecting anti-HCV and anti-HIV .Chemi uminesce nce techno og y fo r testing the HCV/H IV nuc eic can ge t a w ide detection imit and inear r ang e.In addition, the viru s mutatio n and activity of rever se tra nscription can a so be detected by the chemi uminescence techno o gy .
