Knowledge objective: On the basis of learning about the topic, the students are expected to master some idioms related to animals and learn about some knowledge about the animal idioms. 2. Ability objective: Through the study of this lesson, the students are supposed to get trained and improved in their translation as well as speaking and writing abilities through various class activities. 3. Emotional objective: Make the students aware of the importance of cultural differences and enhance the students’ sense of gratitude and patriotism. Besides, they should realize the interest of learning English and develop an interest in it. Teaching important points How to divide the animal idioms into three groups. How to translate some special ones where different animals refer to the similar connotation. How to write something impressive through this class.
