Methods Pathological results of 459 cases of the childbearing age women visited outpatient with abnormal uterine bleeding from January 2012 to December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed，all patients were divided into group A （18 to 39 yea old，174 cases） and group B （40 to 48 yea old，285 cases） according to proportion of different pathological types in the two groups was compared. Results The causes of AUB in group A was mainly related to diseases associated with pregnancy，the causes of AUB in group B was mainly related to dysfunctional uterine bleeding，including endometrial hyperplasia and hyperplastic incidence rate of simple endometrial hyperplasia and hyperplastic endometrium in group B was higher than that in group A，with significant difference （P）.The incidence rate of endometrium associated with pregnancy in group A was higher than that in group B，with significant difference （P）. Conclusion Improper pregnancy，dysfunctional uterine bleeding are the cause of abnormal uterine bleeding in childbearing curettage and endometrial pathological examination is helpful to diagnosis and guiding treatment.
