Methods A total of 100 patients with metabolic syndrome who were admitted in our hospital from January 2014 to January 2015 were selected. According to the different methods of treatment， 100 cases of patients with metabolic syndrome were divided into control group and treatment group， 50 cases in each group. Two groups of patients were accepted limit calories， a balanced diet， low fat， low salt， eat more vegetables， quit alcohol， for moderate aerobic exercise such as conventional treatment， the treatment group on the basis of that plus metformin with 6 months continuous administration； The clinical curative effect of two groups of patients after treatment， and the two groups before and after treatment in patients with blood sugar and iulin， the ISI， at the same time before and after treatment in patients with two groups of TC， TG， LDL-C and HDL-C level were compared. Results After treatment， the patients in the treatment group， the total effective rate was %， significantly higher than that % of control group， the curative effect of two groups between the two groups had statistical significance difference （）.
