Materials’Analysis
The specific language goal is achieved by different kinds of tasks. Students need to use concrete and specific actions to accomplish certain communicative tasks. During the teaching process, we should combine the language structures and functions with learning tasks organically. We attach importance to students’ participation of tasks in the process .This unit talks about My A we will learn the family members ,Part B we will introduce family members to I will guide students to learn English through the activities of specific tasks; to obtain and accumulate the appropriate learning experience through the completion of specific tasks. Just like this, we can achieve “Learning by using, learning for using”.
Goals:
1. Cognition –goals
★ Learn to talk about family members ,such as family, uncle, aunt, cousin,and how to describe them,such as handsome and beautiful .And learn how to write these words beautifully.
★ Learn to talk about English learning,how to introduce one’s family members to others: This is my ... He /She is ....
2. Capacity -- goals
★ Improve students’ listening, speaking and writing skills.
3. Affectivity --- goals
★Lead students to thank their father and mother, encourage them to love their family members more.
★ Train students’ strong interest in learning English and positive emotion of participation in various activities.
4. Strategy—goals
★ Know how to seize opportunities in English communication.
★ Participate actively , and be good at cooperation.
Points of Teaching:
1. Students can understand and talk family members in English,and these words of describing boys and girls.
