The teacher show some pictures of the gate and ask question that do you have been to these places? Then students answer Yes. Step 2: Presentation （1）Listen, look and say T: First, let’s look some new words.（由图片引出单词。读出单词。） Follow me, please. Gate, g-a-t-e, gate, there is a gate. Use the same method to elicit gates, seven, eight. The teacher leads students to read new words for several times. The teacher plays teaching tape, and students repeat after aloud. The teacher carry out the contents of the textbook according to the slide. （2）Do it Listen to the tape and repeat the two sentences. Teacher explain the Chinese meaning of opening the door/locking the door. The teacher divides the student into the group, shows the singular form, lets the student answer the plurality form,, sees which group wins.
