Based on the theory of social support, this study aims to explore the impact of social support on home care for rural elderly through field investigation and analysis. Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, this study found that social support has an important impact on home care for rural elderly, which can alleviate the burden of care, enhance the effectiveness of care, and promote elderly happiness. The study also found that the impact of social support is related to factors such as the gender, age, education level, and physical condition of the recipient. In future research, we should further explore the mechanism and path of social support on home care for rural elderly, and formulate more effective policies and measures to promote the happy life of rural elderly and family harmony.
