ABSTRACT
With the integration of global economy and China’s entry into WTO, more and
more China’s Multinational Corporations (MNCs) have entered overseas markets
and developed their transitional operations. How to enter the overseas markets is
an important problem China is now facing, however, the most important is how to
choose the entry-mode of transitional operations.
Based on the theories of transitional operations, the article analyses the
importance and possibilities of China’s transitional operations; also, according to
our actual process, brings forward some questions. Then, the article presents three
traditional entry-modes, analyzing their strong and weak points respectively in a
comparative way, as well as discusses the factors which influence the
decision-making of entry-mode. Moreover, several new modes are stated in the
article.
