Content (1) To set cost structure 2 (2) To implement production of co-products 4 (3) To create a production order according to the balanced output of main product 6 (1) To set cost structure in Joint production of MRP2 View: There are 7 materials in the example. They are AGO, SNR, Aroma oil , C4S , Propylene , Cracking C4 , and Ethylene. Propylene is chosen to be the main product. Cracking C4 and Ethylene are co-products. The cost structure need to be input in material master of main product. To click Joint production” button, the follow will be shown: To double click the first line, the follow will be shown: To input the equivalent numbers of all co-products relative to main product in cost structure of material master of main product. (2) To implement production of co-products in SAP using BOM of “X” type: In the table of related components of BOM, all products and production materials except main product will be input in “Component” column, the related proportion relative to main product need to be input in “Quantity” column. For co-products, minus symbol “-” will be added to the end of the quantities. To set the basic quantity of main product in BOM: The basic quantity is set to 1000 Ton. (3) To create a production order according to the balanced output of main product by the end of the month: The production order will be created based on the balanced material sheet by the end of the month. To show related components and their input/output quantities in production: Click “” button, the related components, such as production materials and co-products, with quantities of input/output will be shown. To show related production operations: Click “” button, the related operation used in the production will be shown. To show production cost: With menu path “GotoCostsAnalysis”, the production cost will be shown. To show settlement rule: With menu path “HeaderSettlement Rule”, the settlement rule will be shown.
