T e bat c removal of met ylene blue from aqueous solution by adsorption on calcium c loride modif ied attapulgite clay were investigated to determine t e effects of adsorption treatment conditions ( initial dye concentrat ion, pH , rotatespeed) on t e adsorptive capacity for t e dye, t e dynamics and t ermodynamics for t e adsorption process w ere studied. Result s s ow ed t at t e dynamic adsorption capacity data w ere w ell de scribed by t e pseudo second order reaction rate model. T e Langmuir isot erm model fitted t e experimental data obtained at 293 K to 323 K bett er t an Freundlic isot erm model.
