A t first, the research situation of newtypem ineral resourceswas introduced, and then a study casew asm ade on the evaluation of newtype ore deposits in the central southern section of Daxing an ling. Based on the establishment of geo logicalm inerals spatial database, thew eights of evidence prediction m odelwas built and two forecast prospectswere deline ated by using GIS techniques, analyzing the unusualm etallogen ic inform ation includ ing m ineral geology, geophysics, geo chem istry and studying the relationsh ip of the geological abnorm al and m ineralizationw ith mu lti science. The results of re search show ed that this methodwas effective and practical in them etallogenic pred iction of new ore deposits, thus provid ing a scientific basis for the further exp loration and developm ent of the m ineral resou rces in the study.
