Introduction
This kind of sealings typically will be used for to close openings in firewalls like AC and heater
lines passages or fresh air intakes to avoid any leakage from engine to passenger compartment.
For correct sealing function a minimum given sealing force is needed, but too high forces could
disrupt the mounting process or may overload the HVAC flanges.
So the goal was to get useful sealing force data out of simulations on this kind of sealings and
hints on possible problems by folding effects on them.
