Architecture (結構) is those attributes visible
to the programmer 設計者可以看到的系統屬性
Instruction set, number of bits used for data
representation, I/O mechanisms, addressing
techniques.
e.g. Is there a multiply instruction?
需要乘法指令?
Organization (組織) is how features are
implemented 系統特性要如何實作
Control signals, interfaces, memory technology.
e.g. Is there a hardware multiply unit or is it
done by repeated addition?
用乘法器還是累加器?
