M ethods Mutations of exons 18, 1 and 21 of the EGFR in 101NSCLCs w ere detected by PCRamplifying and gene sequencing, and the relationsh ip betw een mutations and clin ical charac ters ofNSCLCswere analyzed. R esults Overal,l w e detected 26 EGFR mutations ( 25. 7% ), and foundmutation frequencies in adenocarcinomas, nonsmoker and female w ere h igh. Conclusion Our data suggest that mutation frequency of EGFR in lung adenocarcinomas from Ch inese patientsw as h igher than that in w estern ethnici
