Ltd, Beijing 100080, China) Abstract: An adiabaticmunicipalsolidwaste(MSW ) burning furnace design solutionwas proposed, for reducing the blended coal consumption in practical operating of the CFB municipal solid waste incinerator furnace. The adiabatic com- bustion temperatureswere obtained by calculating the heatbalances of the furnace for6M SW caseswit eating values in the range of3 558~ 4 605 kJ/kg. Results show that theadiabatic combustion temperatureswithout externalheat exchangers are 40~ 60 higher than the casesw it hexternal heat exchangers. G iven the setting combustion temperature of 850 , the required heating valueofMSW is 3 768 kJ/kgw ithoutexternalheat exchangers, compared to 4 396 kJ/kgw it hexternal heat exchangers.
