Distribution and variation of the lateral earth pressure , the vertical earth pressure and the geobar deformation with filling height and time are analyzed. The lateral earth pressure is ob served as nonlinearly distributed , and at a given level the vertical earth pressure is nonuniformly distributed along the geobar.
