The resu lts showed that there were 9 169 individuals belonging to 11 orders, 48 fam ilie s, 104 sp ecies. R hop a los ip hum nymp hacae (L. ) , P roden ia litu ra ( Fabriciu s) , S accha rosy ne p rocerus (M atsum u ra) , S cirp op hag e p raela ta ( Scopo li) and Ga lerucella birm an ica (J acohy) were the m ain p e sts, and O donata and Coccinellidae were the p rim ary natu ral enem ies. The analyse s on comm un ity structure indicated that the diversity index of in sect comm un ity were rem arkab ly different in differen t vegetation s, wh ich wa s the h ighe st in water dropwort, and wa s the lowe st in lotu s. In sect comm un ity structure on water dropwort wa s the mo st stab le, and water chestnu t wa s at the second p lace. The diversity index of in sect comm un ity in lotu s wa s h igh in m iddle p eriod, bu t low in early and late p eriod s, wherea s that in water bam boo was low in m iddle p eriod, bu t h igh in early and late p eriod s.
