The n merical analysis of heavy metal poll tant transport at the vario s depths in the soilw as cond cted. W ith an increase in the depth, the transport of the poll tant delayed in the soi;l the rise of thew ater content in the soil decreased the concentration gradient of the poll tant along the longit d inal direction of the soi.l The comparisons betw een the n merical smi lation and the expermi entw hich w as cond cted in referencew ere also given. A ll the res lts co ld be tilized for the soil of heavym etal poll tion remedy.
