At the age of late Qing Dynasty, the work female footbinding of rural China is very common. Beside foot-binding, there are some other habitude effects women participate in social labor and strengthen sexual division of labor in peasant family. There are few papers pay attention to female produce in the past economic history research, this paper use the theory of sexual division of labor in family economics to research the sexual division of labor and its efficiency in traditional rural china family. Sexual division of labor not only put the female into the position of enslavement, but also consolidates the integration of family agriculture and family handicraft. This production system binds the economy change and antinomy with modern economy. At the conclusion, this dissertation analysis all formal institution and/or informal institution which bind human active, this institution have same effect with footbinding. This party also analysis at the development plan women take part in social labor not only change the traditional structure family, but also change the old economy structure.
