* C15 : incremented when a RTCH has been successfully selected for HO Purpose. C10 : incremented when a successfull SDCCH HO has been performed. C17 : Incremented on the target cell when a successfull RTCH HO is completed * C15 : incremented when a RTCH has been successfully selected for HO Purpose C56 : incremented on the serving cell C52 : incremented on the target cell * Connection Failure Indication : the BTS has received the Handover Access but not the SABM Frame during the T3106 or T3105 period. * * T8 : toi supervise the Handover procedure with the MS. C15 is incremented when a RTCH channel has been successfully for HO Purpose. * T7 Expiry : the serving BSC doesnt receive the HO Command message. While T7 is running, all the HO alarm detected by the serving BSC are ignored. As soon as T7 expires, the serving BSC can restart the procedure (HO Required send to the MSC) T8 Expiry : the expiry indicates that the did not return to the old channel or the MSC has not initiated a call release scenario after a succesfull HO. The serving BSC initates a call release : BSC Initiated Channel Release towards the MS/BTS (abnormal release, timer expired). On A interface : Clear Request cause Radio Interface Message Failure. Strategy for Target BSC : If a internal failure is detected, a Handover Failure is send to the MSC, this allow the MSC to retry If a failure is detected indicating that the MS has failed to attached to the new channel then a Clear Request is send to the MSC Connection Failure Indication : the MS has been able to send a correct Handover Access to teh target BSS but has not been able to establish the Layer 2 connection. * * The MS receives a Channel Release : the MS instruct the LAPDm function to perform a dsiconnection of the LAPDm and start T3110. The radio link failure algorithm in the MS is trigerred by the BSS when it stops the sending of SACCH frames to the MS. SACHH frames should be stopped for a period of T3109 for the algorithm in the MS
