[Method] The cha acte istic and st uctu e of pulmona y a te y blood vessel of Tibetan mastiff f om Qinghai P ovince and Gansu P ovince w e e studied by light obse vation and mo phologic measu ement. [Result] The pulmona y a te y of Tibetan mastiff was divid- ed into elastic a te y, muscula a te y and a te iole, and the muscula a te y was divided into middle a te y and a te iole. The esea ch show ed that the smooth muscle content of pulmona y a te y of Tibetan mastiff had no obvious change following the altitude. The e was no significant diffe ence on the smooth muscle content of pulmona y blood vessel in the 2 Tibetan mastiff g oups ( P 0.05) , but they all highe than that of Bos g unniens and Vacuna.
