Although not readily apparent, rolling bearings, being an essential element in various industries, also have an impact on the environment. Originally designed to use less energy and save natural resources through their entire life, rolling bearings are environmentally friendly and have little negative impact on the environment. Specifically, one distinctive feature of bearings is low friction. This contributes to the use of less energy of all rolling areas. Regarding bearing production, recycled steel from scrap is mostly used for the raw material of bearing steel, and machining grids. Chips at the production process are also melted and recycled.
