It w as fo nd that the average T i content firstly increased and then decreased d ring the process of EAF tap p ing refin ing contin o s casting. Under c rrent control cond itions of 80grade tire cord steel in Nanjing Iron and Steel United Co. L td. ( NISUCL), the calc lation res lts of form ation therm odynam ics, solid ification segregation and grow th k inetics of TiN parti cles show that T iN form ation takes place on ly in the twophase region where the solidification rati
