Significant synergisms by PBO and TPP but n bvi us synergism by DEM t cypermethrin, deltamethrin, lambda-cyhal thrin and fenpr pathrin were f und in field-c llected resistant strains f B . tabaci . The carb xylesterase ( CarE) activities t A-naphthylacetate and B-naphthylacetate in the resistant strains were 2116 - 2165 and 1122- 1141 times that in the susceptible strain respectively, but there was n difference in the GST activities am ng the resistant strains and the susceptible strain.
