EDA VHDL(Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language) , VHDL Altera Quartus II VHDL Quartus II Quartus II VHDL EDA VHDL Vending machine ABSTRACT Vending machine is used widely in the each situation of the society, and it brings so much convenience to the peoples shopping and their life. The design introduces briefly the EDA(electronic design automation)technology, it describes briefly the characteristic and the grammar structure of VHDL(Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language) , and it introduces basic principle system structure and main function of vending machine system; Then it analysises vending machine’s system design process which is developed by VHDL language. This design makes use of the development software platform which is called Quartus II of company Altera , it designs system core circuit and hardware program which adopts the design method of VHDL hardware description programming language, it compile and circuit simulat in the Quartus II software platform. Finally, the vending machines have coin function, commodities choice, shopping irrevocable, abnormal retreat currency, automatic change, calculation of inventories and the other major functions. Development design of the whole system reflects practicability that digital control system is designed by VHDL language in the Quartus II software platform. Key wordsEDA VHDL Vending machine
