In 1994 he joined Daimler AG as project manager for several research projects focused on intelligent electronic systems for material flow systems, railway systems and road vehicles. Since 2005 he has been working in the field of electrically propelled road vehicles and he is responsible for the strategy on electrical safety for vehicle projects.
