To measure the resolution characteristic of the imaging system, a Siemens star for resolution measurement is prepare accor ing to ISO 12233. By imaging the Siemens star, multi irectional square wave response for ifferent spatial frequencies can be e uce from the imaging results, thus obtaining the systems mo ulation transfer function ( MTF). Resolution measurement experiment base on the Siemens star is carrie out on a THz reflection-mo e scanning imaging system. The systems resolution capability is measure an analyze . The measurement result shows that the systems resolution is 1. 273 lp/ mm, an the resolvable line wi th is 0. 393 mm, which is consistent with the measurement result by knife e ge metho . The stu y emonstrates that the Siemens star offers a convenient approach to measure the systems imaging resolution capability.
