Today ,what I want to recommend are two American cartoon movies :“UP” and “Megamind”. UP tells the story about Carl, a senior citizen,78-year-old,in order to keep the promise of his beloved wife, flies the house into sky with many balloons. In “UP”, people have tempers, problems and obsessions. They are cute and goofy, but their cuteness is different from the treacle way of another cartoon characters. Theyre more real. Two of the three main roles are cranky and old. This kind of role setting is a wonder in this youth-obsessed era. Although the third main character in it is a nervy boy, this movie still demonstrate one idea that the heroes not necessarily be those young and strong or look sweet. * Everyone have seen Disney’s cartoon ,and we all know that Mickey mouse and Donald duck were the most famous stars in Disney. Disney’s cartoon play an important part of American cartoon. But, I will skip this part, and share some other things with you. . The film tells the story of a alien supervillain, Megamind, who is super-inteligent. After a long-lasting battle, one day he actually destroys his foe, the much-loved superhero Metro Man. Dominating the fictional Metro City , Megamind finds out that his villainy has no place to release, and thus he creates a new superhero to serve as his nemesis. His plan backfires, because he ends up with creating a new super-villain. With Metro City spiraling out of control, Megamind makes great effort to correct his fault. What is lucky eventually is that he find out his new goal- to be a superhero, to beat supervillains. The film attempts to use the Megamind’s childhood to explain how he becomes a “devil” man.In fact,as we can see, Megamind is not humble, instead he has a strong and tolerant heart.On the contrary, the urban superman is a little vanity. From beginning to end, Megamind havent do anything very bad,no more than kidnapping the anchorwoman for drawing the superman. *
