It will link power grid at various levels of voltage together through the transformer. The substation is one of the hinges and plays an important role in the power supply system. This design of mountain city 110kV reduction voltage substation can be separated into two parts: first part of the electrical design and second part of the electric design. The first part of the design includes load analysis, the select of the main transformer, the design of main connection form, short-circuit current calculation, the choice of major equipment and power distribution equipment such conductor models, mutual inductor, circuit breaker, isolation switch, insulators and wall bushings. The design of self-used electricity, reactive power compensation and the lightning protection. The second part of the design includes the main transformer protection and their setting calculation, setting calculation of the three voltage levels line protection. Auto CAD is also used to draw once wiring diagram and secondary protection figure.
