Because grain is land-intensive products, the change of grain land size and production efficiency affects the food output a lot. Therefore, the research on grain land scale and the changing law of its efficiency has great significance. The dissertation is an empirical research on ASAM in rice farming in Anhui as a major grain production area. The method to estimate the relative efficiency of the sample farmers is data envelopment analysis (DEA). According to the comparing of cost and benefit, the dissertation discovers the best farming scale. Based on the outcomes, this dissertation puts forward the following policy suggestions: First, farming households need to decide the ASAM in rice farming on reality. Second, local government should encourage farmers to plant rice more intensive and normalized. Third, we should vigorously carry out the construction of farmland infrastructure.
