Measurement Control 8  Introduction and General Information This method statement provides the details of the materials, the equipment, the procedure and relevant documents related to the construction of sub base fill. 1.1 Location of Works The locations of the pipe culverts will be the locations shown on the drawings or as established by the Engineer. Materials The major materials used for the construction of pipe culverts include, but are not limited to the following. Sub Base Material Type I Equipment The major equipment used for the construction of pipe culvert works include, but are not limited to the following. Loader Backhoe / Excavator Motor Grader Skid Steer Loader Rammer / Plate Compactor 5 ton Roller / 1 ton Roller Water Bowser Soil Testing Equipment Safety Management and Traffic Control Traffic warning signs shall be displayed in advance to make aware of the incoming drivers about the working area. Excavated area shall be barricaded either using barricade tapes, traffic cone or any other suitable recommended device. One person equipped with proper flags will be deployed when unloading the material from the dump trucks to control traffic while reversing and unloading.
