Using fiber access network technology has a large capacity, high speed, long distance and economic coverage and good, it is already the preferred solution of modern access network technology. In this thesis, we completed a design of fiber access network in Agile uptown international community. Firstly, we give the research status for optical access network technology at home and abroad, discuss the importance of the technology. Then we explain the main concepts of optical access network technology, analysis and comparison of the copper access network with fiber optic technology access network technology advantages and disadvantages. In Garden Flower City district, for example, in the case of residential basic user mode with the current situation in the subscriber access network based on fiber access network business development were predicted to discuss and analyze the feasibility and necessity of the technology, studied the PON and EPON technology. Finally, we propose a design of fiber access network technology in the Garden Flower City district.
