Care for: 1)take care of 照料 e.g. The college students volunteered to care for the elderly in their community. 2)like or love (used in negative or interrogative sentences)喜欢;喜爱 e.g. She had two sons and didn’t care for either. 每次他生病她都照顾他。但她不是很喜欢他。她不愿让他看这封信。 She cares for him every time he is ill.
