Event Review
A non-profit US health group Campaign for Safe Cosmetics said found quarternium-15 and diozane in JJ’s baby shampoo. The organization said JJ is using double standards in different markets.
JJ announced that they has not changed its baby shampoo formula in the Chinese market and did not plan to recall the dangerous shampoo.
After that, there were shampoos without quarternium-15 in the Chinese market and much more expensive than before.

As such a global company, should they sell the shampoo with quarternium-15 and diozane in some countries when they definitely know that it is a kind of carcinogens, especially for babies? This is the key issue of the event. Even some countries have moderately easy ingredients’ policies, this action they did is unethical for
consumers and have an adverse
direction to their commissions.
Relative issues
After the discovering of quarternium-15 and diozane , JJ did not explained more and apologized to public.
What’s more they brought in shampoo without ammonium salt-15 and sold as twice expensive as the previous one in some cities of China. Why they didn’t recall those shampoos and sell both types
in the market are big questions
for Chinese people.
