Book2, Higher Education press Type of This Lesson listening and speaking Introduction of Teaching Content This unit focuses on the information of part-time job and job interview. Students learn dialogues about job interview and a passage concerning advertisement about employment, learn how to use Present Perfect Tense. The “listening and speaking” is about dialogues concerning job interview. Students learn sentences concerning job interview, and how to make dialogues about job interview. Analysis of Students and Learning Students are studying in a vocational school, with different English levels. Therefore, the teacher should take full consideration of Ss’ individual differences in the learning processes. Due to lack of vocabulary, it is inevitable that they make mistakes. They may meet some difficulties in listening or speaking, especially in the role-play in real-life situation. The teacher should encourage them to take part in exploring and utilizing resources for learning. Ss have accumulated some knowledge concerning job, in this lesson they are going to learn further the knowledge and skills of langue, strengthen the skills of listening and speaking, finish relevant task in simulating real-life situations. Teaching Aims Knowledge and abilities Primary level:After class, Ss are able to understand the dialogues about job interview; can use the sentence patterns and how to make simple conversations.
