ABSTRACT The issue of what path we take is of vital importance for the survival of the Party,the future of China,the destiny of the Chinese nation,and the well-being of the people.Since reform and opening up,our Party has pursued its own course independently by adapting the basic tenets of Marxism to Chinas conditions and the underlying trend of the times.It is a path of socialism with Chinese characteristics which were world historically significant.History proves that:The path of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the road to power and the way of enriching people,which is crucial to achieving the great renewal of the Chinese nation.The historical study on the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics helps us reject both the old and rigid closed-door policy and any attempt to abandon socialism and take an erroneous path while unswervingly follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This paper firstly outlines the background and significance of the topic and expounds the related concepts,the present situation of current study about the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the research methods and the basic framework of this article.Secondly,the paper analyzes the new exploration of building the Chinese-charactered Socialist path.Thirdly,it explores the initial formation of building the Chinese-charactered Socialist path.Fourthly,it analyzes formal formation of building the Chinese-charactered Socialist path.Fifthly,it illustrates the historical leap of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Finally,it summarizes the experience summarization of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
