Jane Eyre is a famous masterpiece written by a English literature critical realism writer-- Charlotte Bronte in 19th century. It succeeded in shaping a new figure—Jane, a new type of petty bourgeois women. This book describes about her pursuit of love, the independence of womens economy and the equal rights of struggle. Because of her religious influence, Charlotte Bronte molds a Jane ,just like a Lost Eve, in Jane Eyre. Jane spent a black period in Gateshead , Lowood Thornfield. Her religious beliefs let her return the Ferndean Manor ,her and Adams Paradise. From the feminist point of view, Bertha Mason, a crazy woman from Jane Eyre is not a simple figure, she is the password hidden in the great works. Through this works, we can see that she and Jane are actually the same personality in different parts. Jane is just a shadow of Bertha. Bertha uses Jane’s actions, Jane’s rational world to reflect her world--Jane’s actions in subconscious are completely taken by Bertha.
