Compared to other manufacture, it benefits from its low manufacturing cost but high profit. However, with the rising of labor cost, especially because of the severe problem of labor shortage in this year, it is quite necessary to perfect processing equipments and high-grade NC products in order to keep the cutting industry having a good developing momentum. But now, most of the punches being used at home are made in China or only simple NC punches being transformed, while these equipments can not meet the need of enterprises. Currently, though many domestic manufacturers of machine tools are capable of producing NC punches, yet the producing price is very expensive and the key components have to rely on importing. Therefore, domestic manufacturers of machine tools should develop their own products to meet the need of the market, help downstream industry improve productivity and cut manufacturing cost and also keep the vitality of the enterprises. One key technology of developing CNC turret punches is “the design and analysis of turret system for CNC turret punches”. With the wide perspective and practical significance, it is indispensable to develop turret systems which are suitable for the production of sheet metal. Therefore, the project of this paper is put forward according to present situation. It is suggested to establish a real model through PRO/E after finishing this design, and then to make a more precise analysis through the finite element analysis soft called ANSYS or to make a artifical system progressively .This can meet the demands of the moving trace and meets the needs of the Turret punchs precision after processing and the speed.
