Consult the individual Sections of the Specifications and the Conditions for additional requirements. Definitions: Closeout is hereby defined to include general requirements near the end of contract time, in preparation for final acceptance, final payment, normal termination of Subcontract, occupancy by JLL, and similar actions evidencing completion of the Work. PREREQUISITES FOR FINAL PAYMENT Prior to final payment, complete the following as applicable. Submit special guarantees, warranties, final certifications and similar documents. Obtain and submit operating certificates, final inspection/test certificates, and similar releases enabling JLL’s full and unrestricted use of the Work, and access to services and utilities. Submit record drawings and maintenance manuals. Complete cleaning, start-up, testing of systems, and instructions of JLL’s operating/maintenance personnel. OPERATING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS AND TRAINING Each Subcontractor providing equipment or systems shall prepare and furnish to JLL operating and maintenance instruction manuals as follows: Submit for JLL’s approval and subsequent use, three (3) manuals containing complete written instructions on operation, care and maintenance of each piece of equipment and installation as a whole.
