The Limit of Chinese Students Learning English And The Method to Learn English Well 衡阳县第三中学高二英语组：易卫平 Abstract:For most of Chinese students, it is too hard for them to launch into English-learning because of the atmosphere in China. The skill in study, the method to teach, and the culture difference between different country, or the influence from ones family. All about this caused the fact that Chinese students can not learn English well easily. So students can not experience the progress and success and add to their interests and confidence,it can not make English-learning more reasonable. Key words:English teaching, learning skill, multi-education A learning method is so important for a English learner. The English language has become an international language because it is used by people in the most countries in the world now,English is very important to us, but many students are puzzled in learning English , and from their point of view, English is too difficult to learn well. As to me, I hold a view that the reason caused all about this is that Chinese students feel strenuous in learning English. Most Chinese students have a wrong method to learn English. Plainly, Americans and Chinese have different ways of expressing. If we want to master a foreign language well, we should know what is a language for? Some Chinese students seem to think it is for practising grammar rules and learning lists of word the longer the words the better, that is really wrong. Language is for the exchange of ideas, for communication, only repeat the words and study grammar rules is not a true way to learn English, it is defective method. A great man once said it is necessary to drill as much as possible, and the more you apply it in real situations, the more natural it will become, so one way to learn a language is to pratise speaking it as often as possible.
