Note-taking in class: Write down the teachers’ main idea and key points and your partners main ideas in discussion. Note-taking in lectures: Record the title, the name of the lecturer, the subject, the time, the place and the main parts of the lecture. Note-taking in reading: you may list the outline; write down the main idea, some new words, important sentences, as well as your comments. Write legibly.
