感官动词
感官动词是表示人的感官动作,常见的有see/notice/look/watch/listen to/hear/feel/taste/smell/sound等。常作连系动词的动词Link Verb 构成系表结构说明主语的状况、性质、特征等情况 表示状态存在的(以感官动词为主) be, look, sound, smell, taste, feel, seem, appear 表示状态持续的(大都有“保持”之意) keep, stay, remain 表示状态转化的(大都有“变”之意) become, get, grow, go, turn, fall 感官动词的用法
感官动词+宾语+V 表示经历事件的完整过程
感官动词+宾语+Ving 表示动作正在进行,经历事件的部分过程
感官动词+宾语+Ved 表示宾语与do是被动关系
I saw him work in the garden yesterday.
昨天我看见他在花园里干活了。(强调我看见了这个事实)
I saw him working in the garden yesterday.
昨天我见他正在花园里干活。(强调我见他正干活这个动作)
The managers discussed the plan that they would like to see carried out the next year.
注意:若不定式作感官动词的补足语,用于被动语态,后面原有动词原形改为带to不定式
We saw him go into the restaurant. → He was seen to go into the restaurant.
I hear the boy cry every day. → The boy is heard to cry every day.
(2)look, sound, smell, taste, feel可当系动词,后接形容词。
He looks angry. It sounds good. The flowers smell beautiful. The sweets taste sweet. The silk feels soft. I felt tired. They all looked tired.
这些动词都不用于被动语态。如:The sweets are tasted sweet.是错误的。
(3)look, sound, smell, taste, feel这些动词后面也可接介词like短语,like后面常用名词。
Her idea sounds like fun.她的主意听起来很有趣。
(4)look / sound / feel + as if +从句结构,意为看起来/听起来/感觉好像……。
It looks as if our class is going to win.看来我们班好像要获胜了.

They knew her very well. They had seen her ___ up from childhood.
grow B. grew C. was growing D. to grow
The missing boy was last seen ___ near the river.
playing B. to be playing C. play D. to play
使役动词
使役动词是表示使、令、让、帮、叫等意义的不完全及物动词,主要有make, let, help, have等
have
have 的使动用法
have +宾语do (叫、让、请)某人去干某事,表示已经完成的动作
He often has us do many exercises after class.
We had them work till late.
(2) have+宾语doing (叫、让某人)一直不停地干某事,表示正在进行尚未完成的动作
He always has us laughing at dinner.
During the harvest time, my father usually has two men working for him.
The two cheats had the light burning all night long
have+宾语+done 表示宾语与do是被动关系
I had my watch repaired last week.
They had the clothes washed.
have 的特殊用法
have+宾语+to do 此时的 have应作“有”讲,
