With the development of society, data shows explosive growth. In the face of massive data processing, distributed computing will replace centralized computing gradually. In a centralized database, the primary key uniqueness is easier to guarantee, but in a distributed environment, it is more difficult to ensure the uniqueness of data in databases which are dispersed in different regions. So the uniqueness and generation method of primary key is more crucial in a distributed database. Current common primary key generation methods, such as increment primary key, cannot meet the requirements of the distributed database; and UUID, although meet the requirements, but occupy a large space. Most of mainstream commercial database cannot own multi-database consistency of the primary key. Oracle database can achieve it, but oracle database too complex and expensive prices. To solve the problem above, a method of primary key generation based on distributed database cluster is presented. Based on the original, this article designs a distributed database cluster system for primary key generation method. It implemented the uniqueness of primary key generation method.
