Language Points We may confuse “Nice to meet you” with “Nice meeting you” and “Nice to see you.” “Nice to meet you” is used with introductions, while “Nice to see you” is used to greet someone the speaker knows. “Nice meeting you” is often used before saying good-bye to the new acquaintance.
